Chicago's Shopping District
What is Chicago without shopping? Wherever
you’re going in the city, be sure to wear your most comfortable
shoes. Chicago offers a world class array of unique stores and top shopping locations that include:
(1) Magnificent Mile, a roughly 8-block stretch of North Michigan
Avenue with all kinds of shops and stores, everything you could
ask for in retail shopping. Other Chicago shopping malls
include Water Tower Place, 900 North Michigan Shops, Chicago Place
and Westfield North Bridge.
(2) If you are into department stores, there’s Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s,

(3) For a different Chicago shopping experience, head out
to State Street which has a residential and more traditional commercial
development ambiance, with flagship department stores such as historic
Macy’s and Sears. If you’re looking for bargains, try the Norsdstrom
Rack.
(4) For boutique shopping, head
out to Oak Street, an international style center where you will find
many of the world’s most exclusive boutiques and salons. For quality
merchandise unique to Chicago, this is the place to be.
(5) If you want to add pieces to your art collection, the River
North Gallery District is one of Chicago’s best place to be, with
70 world-class art and antique galleries. Collectors from around
the world visit this district to explore and discover established
works and emerging artists. For 17th to 20th century valuable art,
visit Zygman Voss Gallery where works by masters Rembrandt, Renoir,
Whistler, Picasso, Dali, Lautrec, Chagall, Miro and Cassatt are
found. Even works of contemporary artists like Rosenthalis, Nierman
and Eugenia Perez Del Toro are featured here. Definitely a must-stop
